This one was a spirited affair, but as the dust settled, The Monsters would prevail. The Lighting would try and put up a fight, but it was too late. The Monsters would come out flying and would score 3 goals in the opening period. It seemed something was missing on the Lightning's bench, perhaps it was John Ventullo with his notebook, or maybe it as that intensity they needed to win and force a game 3. Well, whatever it was, it wasn't there and proved to be the demise for the Lighting.
Andrew Sisi was on fire for the Monsters scoring 2 goals, and I'm sure he would have had hats coming down from the rafters... if he could manage to stay in the game. The Monsters sweep the series, and wait for the winner between the Big Horns and Young Warriors.
Rest up guys, and be ready. Because the Big Horns or Warriors will not be an easy task.
